To pass along the virtues of the game of Lacrosse to the Youth of Bedford

My my My my
Welcome to Bedford Youth Lacrosse

We play all players equally with the goal of teaching the sport and providing a fun, safe and meaningful experience. We police ourselves in the effort to create equal teams within the program, teach all positions, and provide an outlet for kids that has not been swept up in the pressure filled, win-at-all-cost mania that is too present in today's youth sports.

If we are successful, we hope to create a life long passion in our players and volunteers for the great sport of Lacrosse.

Bedford Youth Lacrosse
Bedford Day Parade and Booth

Bedford Youth Lacrosse is inviting all current and past players, coaches, and parents to march in the Parade and come by the BYL Booth on Bedford Day on Saturday, September 22, 2018 to support Bedford Youth Lacrosse. Please provide your support of BYL.

Here are the details regarding the parade and the booth.

Players, coaches, and parents who want to march in the parade must arrive at Page Field by 9:45 AM because the road closes at 10:00 AM. Page Field is the baseball field on Loomis street between the CVS and the train depot.

The BYL group area at Page Field will be clearly marked by signs on the field. We are in group E that will be next to 2nd base on the baseball field.

The parking lot at Page Field is designated as a drop off spot only and will have a one-way flow of traffic.

Group escorts will meet parade participants there and walk them to their groups. Children are never to be dropped at the end of Loomis unless escorted by a parent to Page Field.

BYL parade participates should wear their uniforms or Bedford Lacrosse
t-shirts and comfortable shoes
. Please feel free to bring your lacrosse sticks to carry during the parade.

The parade steps off at 10:30 AM and will end on Mudge Way next to the police station. BYL coaches will stay with the players until they are picked up by their parents.

After the parade, please come by the BYL booth for fun and games and to help support Bedford Youth Lacrosse. The booth will be located on the side of Kids’ Club near the Kids’ Club playground and basketball courts.

We hope to see everyone there to support Bedford Youth Lacrosse!
